Half Marathon Training: Week 2 In Review

Well, week 2 was an utter failure, but mostly through no fault of my own. On Monday, I did an hour of yoga and did strength training on my arms and abs. On Tuesday, I felt weak and like I was coming down with a cold, so I rested to play it safe. Sure enough, on Wednesday, I had a head cold and stayed home from work. And, obviously, I didn't work out. Same story on Thursday. On Friday, I went back to work but was still pretty weak. Saturday, despite a runny nose, I ran 3 miles. Sunday, I had to work and attend a Super Bowl party, so I didn't have any time to run.

So my week was fairly fruitless, but there was nothing I could do. This week will be better for sure! No more head cold, and I have the whole week off from work, so I have plenty of time.

Keep going Katie!

Go Katie! A couple weeks ago I started a new thing--Barry's Bootcamp. It's 21-minute interval workouts. I haven't checked my weight loss, but I did check inches and lost 3 overall the first week. That week I worked out twice a day. This past week I did once a day, but I haven't done my measurements yet. Do you ever watch Biggest Loser? It is my favorite show. If I could lose weight like that, I would be done in like 3 weeks!
