Black Friday

Deidre and I went to South Towne mall at 11:00 pm on Thanksgiving to kick off Black Friday. We were within the first 100 people in the door at midnight, and scored a free Christmas CD. As we Mahans do, we split up to shop. I was only shopping for myself and didn't have a lot to spend, so I was done within an hour. I got home at 2:00 am and spent an hour online, shopping for my husband, then went to bed. I got up at nine and went to ShopKo, Michael's, Rite Aid, Roberts, Target, and Wal-Mart and found everything I wanted. If you're not searching for a big ticket item like a computer or TV, going about four or five hours after opening pays off, because they periodically restock the shelves. I then went up to the Newgate mall to pick up something I'd ordered for Sky and bought a few things. I was done by three and managed to get in six hours of sleep.

Hooray for sales! And BOOOOOO for working on Thanksgiving.
